The Memphis Dulcimer Gathering & Folk Festival seeks to provide the highest quality instruction in a warm and friendly atmosphere.  We encourage interaction among students and staff.  In order to retain the personal feel of the festival and to keep workshops small enough to enable individual attention and a non-threatening environment, registration is limited to 125 workshop participants.

Midday concerts are free and lunch ($8 per person per day) can be ordered without being registered for classes.  Admission to the Evening Instructor concert (Friday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m.) is $10 per person.

Your donations to MDG, Inc. are tax-deductible.  We are looking for sponsors for this year's festival.  If you or someone you know would like to make a tax-deductible donation and be listed in the program for the festival, please e-mail Lee or call 901-877-7763.  You may wish to honor someone or remember someone who has passed away with a donation of $10 or more.  These remembrances will also be listed in the festival program.

** MDG, Inc., works hard to provide the finest in instruction and entertainment to participants at our festival.  We work with a small "to the penny" budget each year.  All money from festival proceeds goes directly to pay for the festival.  Therefore, we regret that we are not able to provide a refund should you be unable to attend.  However, because we are a federally recognized nonprofit corporation, we will happily provide you with a tax deduction letter for the amount of your registration should you be unable to attend.  Thank you for your understanding and support.
